This is what she wanted from her 40th birthday photo shoot here in the studio with WMNKND.
This self-love experience was all for her. She wanted to celebrate herself with a 40th birthday photo shoot and her body as she entered a new decade – the perfect birthday gift to yourself if you ask me. She had never really thought of herself as “sexy” or “sensual” and wanted to see herself as such for the first time.
So that’s what we showed her.
And we didn’t put her in a figurative box or ask her to be anything that she isn’t already. Instead we encouraged her to embrace everything that makes her who she is- including her love of dance. We showed her that she is her very own brand of sexy. Multi-faceted, real, and worthy.
I think we accomplished her goals for her 40th birthday photo shoot.
Now she has a gorgeous custom album & studio experience as a reminder. A confidence boost whenever she needs it. In 40 years, she can have her Schitt’s Creek Moira moment….
But when she goes to find the evidence, this artwork will still be there. This chapter of her forever documented and celebrated.
