Before Your Day of Empowerment
Step 1: Reach Out and Begin Your Boudoir Photography Journey
Your journey starts when you reach out to us. Whether you’re simply curious or ready to book your boudoir photography (Kansas City) experience, we’re here to answer your questions and guide you every step of the way. Our goal is to make sure you feel seen, heard, and fully supported.
Step 2: Schedule Your Free Pre-Session Consultation
Once you’ve decided to move forward, the next step is scheduling your FREE pre-session consultation. This is where the magic begins—we’ll dive into your goals for the photoshoot, discussing everything from the vibe you want to capture to the dreams you want to bring to life. We’ll make sure every detail aligns with your desires and goals, so you feel celebrated and seen, making the most of this experience.
Step 3: Resources & Support (Including Style Consult)
In the weeks leading up to your session, we’ll provide you with everything you need to feel empowered. Our boudoir session guide includes everything from prep tips, affirmations, FAQ, a style guide, and even WMNKND’s official yoga flow video. You’ll also have the option to schedule a comprehensive style consultation, where we’ll collaborate on hair, makeup, outfits, and set designs. Together, we’ll create a mood board that reflects your personal style and the story you want to tell through your boudoir photo shoot process.
During Your Photoshoot
Step 1: Arrive Fresh-Faced and Ready for Your Boudoir Session
On the big day, come in with clean skin and fresh hair—ready to be pampered. When you arrive at our boudoir studio in Kansas City, you’ll already be on the path to feeling your best. All I need you to do, is show up for yourself. Our team will take care of the rest, like hair and makeup that highlights your natural beauty and sets the tone for your Day of Empowerment.
Step 2: Hair and Makeup Transformation
Sit back, relax, and enjoy being pampered! Whether you want a soft, natural look or something bold and glamorous, Kelsey with Mind and Muse has got you covered. This personalized, collaborative service is part of what makes the boudoir photography experience at WMNKND so special. We want you to feel like the most radiant version of yourself– and make sure you still recognize yourself.
Step 3: Boudoir Photoshoot, Guided Posing & Relaxation
Now, it’s time for the best part: the photoshoot! Don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like this before—this isn’t about being a model; it’s about being YOU. I will guide you through every pose, making sure you feel comfortable, confident, and empowered in front of the camera. By the end, you’ll be amazed at how confident and relaxed you look.
After Your Photoshoot
Step 1: Relax and Unwind in the Massage Chair
After the shoot, it’s time to relax in our massage chair and reflect on the empowering embodiment experience you’ve just had. This quiet time is the perfect opportunity to breathe and let go, while we get ready for the exciting next steps.
Step 2: Same-Day Image Reveal
One of the most exciting moments of your Kansas City boudoir photography experience is the same-day image reveal. You’ll get to see your stunning photos for the first time and select your favorites to be turned into beautiful works of art– before leaving the studio! Whether you’re choosing an album, wall art, or prints, this is where you get to see the transformative power of your photos.
Step 3: Payment and Product Ordering
Once you’ve chosen your favorite images, it’s time to finalize your order. You can pay in full or choose to to continue your payment plan. If you decide to pay in full, your products will be ordered that same week. For payment plans, we’ll place the order once the final payment is received. Expect your gorgeous products in 4-6 weeks, and either pickup at our boudoir studio in Kansas City or have them shipped directly to you for no additional charge.
