Why did you choose to do a boudoir session?
I’m turning 40 soon and thought this would be a great way to mark this milestone in my life. This is something I thought I would NEVER do because I have always been very self-conscious of my body. In the past year I have been really working on my health and fitness and have never felt better in my own skin.
Describe your personal experience working with the WMNKND empowerment team!
I was worried I wouldn’t look good or wouldn’t really know what to do or how to pose. But Mik and Kelsey (Mind and Muse) were a DREAM to work with. My nerves fell once I stepped in the studio and met both of them. The experience is all about whatever you are comfortable with and they make that known every step of the way. Mik demonstrates every pose and directs you verbally. I also loved that she was very detail orientated and will stop to fix hair or adjust a strap.
Has anything changed since your session?
I feel so empowered and feel like I can really do anything! This was such an amazing experience.
